This wedding fair is characterized by expanding the participating brands across all categories, with a focus on premium furniture and fashion brands that see high demand at every wedding fair, thereby broadening the range of choices for customers.
In particular, the store has built a solid lineup of formalwear in the fashion category with brands such as Theory, Obzee, and Kuho, and in the lifestyle category it is featuring Ace, Simmons, Tempur, and Jakomo, as well as overseas luxury brands.
As the number of participating brands has been expanded to the largest scale ever, the opportunities to earn "Wedding Mileage," which is the most sought-after benefit among engaged couples, have also increased.
"Wedding Mileage" is a reward program in which, for nine months after joining Lotte Wedding Members, customers can accumulate the amount they spend at Lotte Department Store and receive up to the equivalent of 7% of their total accumulated spending in the form of Lotte gift certificates. During the wedding fair period, the store will run a double-accumulation event that offers up to twice the usual mileage on purchases in key wedding-related categories such as overseas luxury goods, watches and jewelry, and furniture, as well as an additional 50% accumulation event on purchases of fashion items and small home appliances.
In addition, through February 24, the store will support smart shopping for engaged couples by running a referral event that grants 100,000 welcome Wedding Mileage points to new members who sign up using an existing member's referral code.
The store will also introduce exclusive collaboration products that are available only at Lotte Department Store.
For this wedding fair, the store has planned a "porcelain table set" in collaboration with Monkeywood, a dining table specialty brand that has opened on the 8th floor of the Gwangju branch. A total of 200 sets have been prepared, limited to 100 units each of the 4-person and 6-person tables, and they are sold only at 16 Monkeywood stores within Lotte Department Stores nationwide, enhancing their exclusivity. The prices are 1.8 million won for the "4-person porcelain table set" and 2.4 million won for the "6-person porcelain table set."
The store will also operate a "Premium Wedding Return Gift Specialty Zone" to enhance the convenience of online shopping.
The return-gift specialty zone operated on the Lotte Department Store Mall is the only return-gift mall run by a retail company where customers can compare and purchase a wide range of items, from traditional return gifts to unique presents. First opened in April last year, it has seen steadily rising customer satisfaction thanks to services such as "personalized recommendations" and "gift wrapping." This time, the store will actively target online shopping demand by offering "Wedding Mileage accumulation" benefits to customers who make purchases during the wedding fair period.
Han Kijeong, Head of the Lifestyle Team at the Gwangju branch, said, "With the full-scale wedding season approaching, we have prepared a variety of practical events, from enhanced wedding promotions to exclusive product proposals," adding, "This wedding fair will be a great choice for engaged couples preparing their wedding essentials in a cost-effective way."
