The Shilla Seoul announced on the 12th that it has become the first hotel in Korea to receive a Five-Star rating for eight consecutive years in the 2026 Star Awards by Forbes Travel Guide, the world-renowned authority on luxury travel ratings.

원본보기 아이콘This year, The Shilla Seoul was selected as part of the "Exclusive Group," a curated top-tier group among Forbes Five-Star hotels, and has been invited as the first and only hotel from Korea to participate as an International Delegate at the annual Forbes Summit to be held in Monaco this month. It is reported that only 51 hotels worldwide, all of which are Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star properties recognized for their outstanding service, have been selected for this group.
Forbes Travel Guide is a rating agency that annually evaluates and publishes the ratings of hotels, restaurants, and spas. It is known as the originator of the globally adopted Five-Star hotel rating system.
The Shilla Seoul was first named a Four-Star hotel by Forbes Travel Guide in 2017, when Korea was newly included in the evaluation, and in 2019 it became the only hotel in Korea to be upgraded to a Five-Star rating. It has maintained this rating for eight consecutive years through 2026. Various celebration packages tailored to major life events of guests, such as marriage proposals, wedding anniversaries, prenatal relaxation trips, and filial trips for parents, as well as the provision of limited-edition gifts, have received a strong positive response. In addition, the hotel operates a wide range of dining venues, including one all-day dining restaurant, one bar and lounge, and four fine-dining restaurants, and has been highly praised by the evaluation team for its friendly customer service and the use of fresh seasonal ingredients to enhance menu quality.
