[Invest&Law] Yulchon Signs 'Environmental and Chemical Cooperation' MOU with LBS Industrial Chemistry Research Institute

Yulchon LLC announced on the 11th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with LBS Industrial Chemistry Research Institute to promote cooperation and joint development in the environmental and chemical fields.

This MOU was prepared to enable cooperation in a wide range of areas, including litigation support and legal advisory services in domestic and overseas environmental and chemical fields, joint research, sharing of information and resources, as well as education and capacity building.

Yulchon plans to strengthen its professional and effective legal advisory services based on its practical technological understanding in the environmental, ESG, and chemical sectors. LBS Industrial Chemistry Research Institute expects to be able to systematically manage legal risks that may arise in the course of research and development and technological innovation in the environmental and chemical fields, and to enhance its regulatory response capabilities.

LBS Industrial Chemistry Research Institute is an independent incorporated research institute approved by the Ministry of Environment and established with funding from the Korean Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Society. Its main business areas include research and development and technology evaluation of environmental and chemical substances, including polymer materials, risk assessment, conformity assessment, response to environmental technology regulations, and evaluation of technological and managerial factors.
