Hanwha Vision has achieved its highest performance ever as a result of its efforts to expand into global markets by leveraging advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).
Hanwha Vision’s Security Division announced on February 5 that its revenue for last year reached 1.3351 trillion won, with operating profit of 182.3 billion won.
This represents the company’s best performance to date, with revenue up 10% and operating profit up 52% year-on-year, respectively. Since surpassing 1 trillion won in annual revenue for the first time in 2022, Hanwha Vision has maintained steady growth every year.

In the Middle East, where demand for video security has recently surged, revenue jumped 22% compared to the previous year. Hanwha Vision’s advanced security systems are scheduled to be deployed throughout Burj Azizi, a supertall skyscraper under construction in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, which is slated for completion in 2029.
The company has also delivered tangible results in the European market, including the United Kingdom. According to global market research firm Omdia, Hanwha Vision ranked second in market share in the UK security market. Hanwha Vision cameras equipped with the latest technologies, including AI, have recently been adopted one after another at major national facilities across Europe, such as airports and ports, earning recognition for their high technological capabilities.
In fact, AI cameras accounted for 49% of Hanwha Vision’s network camera sales in the fourth quarter of last year (October to December. This is an increase of 14 percentage points from the same period a year earlier, indicating that demand for AI technologies is rapidly rising across industries.
This year, Hanwha Vision is expecting strong performance in the domestic market. The company plans to target the market with solutions optimized for Korea, including Keeper, a store management solution dedicated to self-employed business owners, and smart parking solutions.
A Hanwha Vision representative said, “In virtually every industrial field, artificial intelligence and cloud technologies have become a necessity rather than a choice,” adding, “Based on our robust cybersecurity framework and unrivaled AI capabilities, we will become an irreplaceable top-tier video security company in the global market.”
