BNK Busan Bank Recruiting Startups for 11th "SUM Incubator" Cohort

Applications accepted until February 25...Supporting growth companies in ICT, AI, fintech and more

BNK Busan Bank announced on the 4th that it will be recruiting companies for the 11th cohort of its "SUM Incubator" until February 25, targeting promising firms with differentiated technologies or services.


"SUM Incubator" is a startup support program operated by Busan Bank to invigorate the local startup ecosystem and foster startups. Since its launch in July 2019, a total of 10 cohorts, comprising 132 companies, have completed the program, and the cumulative amount of investment attracted has reached 15.3 billion won.


The 11th cohort will select startups without restriction across various fields such as ICT (Information and Communications Technology), AI (Artificial Intelligence), big data, fintech, and platforms. Companies wishing to participate can apply online through the website of "Storage B," BNK Financial Group's startup and fintech development platform.


Selected companies will receive various benefits, including free exclusive office space, professional consulting in areas such as tax, management, and legal affairs, one-on-one mentoring with external experts, networking with local governments and related organizations, and growth support programs for scaling up.


In particular, this year the bank plans to strengthen its global programs for startups seeking to expand overseas and to expand practical support so that outstanding companies can advance beyond the region into global markets.
