Wearable artificial intelligence (AI) diagnostic monitoring company Seers Technology held a corporate presentation (IR) at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, on the 4th.
This corporate presentation was organized for domestic institutional investors and major analysts, with the CEO personally presenting the company’s management status, business performance, and global expansion strategy.
Seers recorded fourth-quarter sales of 20.4 billion won and operating profit of 8.7 billion won (a turnaround to profit), achieving its highest-ever quarterly sales. This is being evaluated as evidence that the business performance and the stability of the revenue model of its wearable AI-based medical solutions have been proven.
As the background for its improved performance, Seers cited: the expansion of its inpatient monitoring platform; the establishment of its fee-based subscription service model; and improvements in its cost structure driven by more advanced AI analysis. Through this, the company presented the outlook that both performance growth and profitability improvement will continue this year.
The core growth engine of Seers is its wearable AI-based inpatient monitoring platform “THINK.” THINK is an inpatient monitoring platform (IPM) that analyzes and monitors the condition of patients in hospital wards in real time and is a solution that simultaneously enhances the work efficiency of medical staff and patient safety. The domestic inpatient monitoring market targeted by THINK is estimated at approximately 700,000 beds.
The company also presented a concrete overseas business strategy. Seers is accelerating the acquisition of key references for global expansion through its partnership with PureHealth, the largest state-owned healthcare group in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Middle East. PureHealth is the largest medical group in the Middle East, operating an integrated healthcare platform in which public healthcare systems, checkup and diagnostic services, insurance, and telemedicine services are organically connected around its hospital network.
Lee Youngshin, CEO of Seers, said, “From this year onward, we plan to simultaneously pursue sustainable growth and global expansion, driven by the expansion of our installed base, an increase in recurring revenue, and the accumulation of global references.”
