Hitejinro (CEO Jang Inseob) has launched three types of gift sets for its premium distilled soju brand "Ilpoom Jinro" for the Lunar New Year holidays.
Hitejinro announced on the 4th that, in launching the three Ilpoom Jinro gift sets, it focused on enhancing consumer satisfaction by including dedicated glasses that pair well with each product.
The "Ilpoom Jinro Oak 25 (25% ABV)" gift set consists of three 375ml bottles and two dedicated on-the-rocks glasses. "Ilpoom Jinro Oak 25" is a product that stands out for its distinctive aroma and flavor, created by blending only highly refined cask-aged base spirits suited to 25% ABV using Hitejinro's proprietary know-how.
The "Ilpoom Jinro Oak 43 (43% ABV)" gift set consists of two 375ml bottles and three straight glasses. "Ilpoom Jinro Oak 43" offers a deep yet smooth taste, achieved by blending cask-aged base spirits that have been matured for more than 12 years under strict temperature and humidity control.
The gift set for "Ilpoom Jinro 25 (25% ABV)," Hitejinro's flagship premium distilled soju product, includes three 375ml bottles and two on-the-rocks glasses. "Ilpoom Jinro 25" uses only the middle cut of the base spirit, where aroma and flavor are at their best. After impurities and off-flavors are removed at sub-zero temperatures through a freeze filtration process, it undergoes an optimal aging period. It is characterized by a clean, smooth finish and a subtle taste. The three Ilpoom Jinro Lunar New Year gift sets have been on sale at hypermarkets and other home-channel retailers nationwide since the first week of this month.
Ilpoom Jinro increased its sales volume by more than 15% year-on-year last year, continuing to grow annually and elevating the status of premium distilled soju. Hitejinro analyzed that this growth was driven by portfolio diversification that clearly distinguishes the identity of each product, as well as a strategy to strengthen mass appeal by expanding consumer touchpoints.
Through a lineup consisting of Ilpoom Jinro Mild, Ilpoom Jinro 25, Ilpoom Jinro Oak 25, and Ilpoom Jinro Oak 43, Ilpoom Jinro offers different product profiles that express both the original taste of premium distilled soju and the deep flavor of cask-aged base spirits completed at Korea's largest cask-aging cellar. Rather than simply differentiating by alcohol content, the lineup is designed around differences in the character and flavor of the base spirits, providing consumers with clearer criteria for selection and a differentiated drinking experience.
