Namyangju City Achieves Nation's First "Excellent Healing Agriculture Facility" Certification... Daegagongwon and Heukgwanamu Selected

Namyangju City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 30 that two local facilities, "Daega Farm" and "Heukgwanamu," have received the first certification in the "Excellent Healing Agriculture Facility Certification System" hosted by the Rural Development Administration.

This certification system was introduced under the "Act on Research, Development, and Promotion of Healing Agriculture" and aims to improve the quality of healing agriculture services and enhance public trust.

The certification review covered a total of 38 items across three areas: facilities and equipment, personnel, and operational standards, and was conducted through both document and on-site evaluations.

Daega Farm in Joan-myeon and Heukgwanamu in Byeollae-myeon, which received the certification, each operate customized healing programs that utilize the natural environment of their farms to support physical and mental recovery.

An official from Namyangju City stated, "This certification has enhanced the credibility and professionalism of healing agriculture facilities in our city," and added, "We will continue our efforts to promote citizens' health and revitalize local agriculture through the ongoing development and dissemination of healing agriculture."
