Korea Water Resources Survey Institute Selected as "2025 Community Contribution Recognized Institution"

The Korea Water Resources Survey Institute (hereinafter referred to as the Institute) was selected as a recognized institution for community contribution by achieving an A grade in the "2025 Community Contribution Recognition Program" hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.

The Institute explained that this achievement was the result of receiving high evaluations in various areas, including the creation of an eco-friendly work environment, social contribution activities based on community cooperation, and the operation of regionally customized ESG programs utilizing its expertise in hydrological surveys.

The Community Contribution Recognition Program is a system that evaluates the extent to which institutions utilize their resources to cooperate with local communities and contribute to community development, and comprehensively reviews all ESG-related activities.

Lee Youngki, President of the Korea Water Resources Survey Institute, stated, "As a public institution that grows together with the community, we have continuously engaged in various activities to fulfill our social responsibilities." He added, "With this certification as an opportunity, we will further advance ESG management and establish ourselves as a leading institution contributing to local communities based on our expertise in hydrological surveys."
