Bae Dongsung and Jeon Jinju Donate 10 Million Won Again This Year, Join 'Sharing Leader Gold'

The Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kim Byungjun) announced on December 10 that broadcaster Bae Dongsung and culinary researcher Jeon Jinju have donated 10 million won, joining the year-end and New Year fundraising campaign "Hope 2026 Sharing Campaign."

The couple received the Sharing Leader Gold Certification Plaque, which is awarded to members of the Community Chest of Korea's individual donor program who donate more than 10 million won within one year.

Having each donated 10 million won in both 2022 and 2023, their cumulative donations have reached 30 million won with this year's additional contribution.

Bae Dongsung and Jeon Jinju first became involved with the Community Chest of Korea in 2022. When their YouTube channel, "Bae Dongsung & Jeon Jinju's Jeongbap TV," reached 100,000 subscribers, they held a "Thank You Concert" to express their gratitude, donating the entire proceeds along with their own contribution for a total of 10 million won. Since then, the couple has continued to donate each year-end, spreading positive influence.The couple has consistently made donations every year-end, expanding their positive impact.

Bae Dongsung said, "My wife and I promised to continue donating every year, and I am grateful that we were able to fulfill that commitment again this year. We hope to continue to give back to society, even in a small way, for the love we have received."

Jeon Jinju said, "It is my wish to eventually become a member of the Honor Society (for those who donate more than 100 million won) by donating 10 million won each year. This donation is especially meaningful because it comes from the proceeds of Jeongbap TV on YouTube, making it a donation shared with those who have supported and purchased from Jeongbap TV."

Hwang Insik, Secretary General of the Community Chest of Korea, stated, "I am deeply grateful for the warm hearts of Bae Dongsung and Jeon Jinju, who have continued to share generously. Their acts of giving have become a model for many people. We will do our utmost to ensure that the entrusted donations are used meaningfully where they are most needed."
