Gapyeong County Recruiting for "Jaraseom Signature Festival" with Regular Venue Benefits

Gapyeong County in Gyeonggi Province has launched an open call to select a "Jaraseom Signature Festival" in order to enhance the festival competitiveness of Jaraseom and attract tourists year-round. Events chosen as the signature festival will receive a 30% discount on Jaraseom facility usage fees, along with comprehensive promotional support from the county.

The selection process for the signature festival consists of the following steps: proposal submission, schedule negotiation, review committee meeting (if applicable), final selection, and facility usage approval. The review committee will evaluate new applicants, applicants with conflicting schedules, and event organizers of 2024-2025 signature festivals deemed to require review.

Gapyeong County plans to convene the review committee in January 2026 to conduct evaluations based on assessment criteria, after which the final results will be announced.

Companies wishing to participate can visit the Tourism Operations Team at the Tourism Division of Gapyeong County Office (4th floor, Second County Office Building) between the 15th and 31st of this month to submit their proposals in person. A Gapyeong County official stated, "Through the operation of the Jaraseom Signature Festival, we aim to enhance the festival competitiveness of Jaraseom and contribute to revitalizing the local economy," adding, "We ask for the keen interest and active participation of festival organizers."
