The Busan Branch of the Korea Special Mission Merit Association (Branch President Kim Seokjong) held its 18th anniversary ceremony and Patriotism Resolution Rally at 5:50 p.m. on December 3, 2025, in the Grand Ballroom on the first floor of the Comodo Hotel in Busan.

The event was attended by more than 200 branch members, as well as key figures including local National Assembly members, Busan city officials, representatives from the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, and heads of organizations affiliated with the Veterans Association Council.


During the event, the Busan Branch reaffirmed its commitment to national security by reading a resolution that stated, "As proud citizens of the Republic of Korea, we will take the lead in safeguarding the freedom and peace of our homeland." The participants reiterated that "only strong security can ensure the safety of the people" in the current challenging security environment, expressing their determination to further strengthen national security awareness.


The Busan Branch plans to continue fostering unity and communication for national defense and to carry out ongoing activities to raise security awareness within the local community.
