The city provides customized integrated care services for seniors, covering housing, healthcare, nursing, and daily care. These services include the nation's first Senior Care Safe Housing, the establishment of a Home Medical Center, the launch of the Ansan-style Visiting Medical Support Center, personalized nutrition services, companion transportation services, and home visit housekeeping services.
In particular, considering the region's high number of public purchase rental housing units, the city is collaborating with Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) to promote a public remodeling project. Through this, Ansan is forming a community-based care network and establishing a people-centered 'Onmaeum Care Project' system, where neighbors care for one another.
Lee Mingun, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "We will not be complacent with our achievements so far, and will do our utmost to ensure that the integrated care project, centered on the community and people, can be further expanded through cooperation between the public and private sectors."
