The donations collected through the Donation Table will be delivered to World Vision and used to support various public interest projects that help vulnerable groups in society. In particular, PD Eunkyoo Joo, a professional committee member of the World Vision Young Leadership Council (YLC), will participate as the first host of the Donation Table, marking a meaningful start to this charitable initiative.
Hangju Kim, CEO of Playit, stated, "I hope this will be more than just a meal, but an opportunity to share experiences and insights while creating social value together," adding, "We will continue to work with hosts and participants from diverse fields, as well as World Vision, to promote a healthy culture of giving."
Sungtae Kim, Head of the Sustainable Partnerships Division at World Vision, said, "It is a very meaningful collaboration in that conversations shared at the table can lead to acts of giving that change someone’s life," and added, "As new forms of giving like this expand, our society will become warmer, and World Vision will continue to take part in paving that path."
The YLC committee, which includes PD Eunkyoo Joo, who is participating in this Donation Table, is a leadership group established for World Vision’s "Finish The Job" campaign. It is primarily composed of Christian CEOs under the age of 49 who are working together to address international development issues.
