On Tuesday, December 9, morning temperatures across most regions nationwide are expected to fall below freezing.

원본보기 아이콘According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, as of 5 a.m., temperatures in major cities were as follows: Seoul -1.7°C, Incheon -0.5°C, Suwon -4.0°C, Chuncheon -7.0°C, Gangneung 2.7°C, Cheongju -1.7°C, Daejeon -2.6°C, Jeonju -1.7°C, Gwangju 0.0°C, Jeju 7.9°C, Daegu 1.8°C, Busan 2.6°C, Ulsan 0.5°C, and Changwon 2.8°C. Daytime highs are forecast to range from 6°C to 11°C.
In areas where a dry weather advisory is in effect-such as the east coast and mountainous regions of Gangwon, the east coast and northeastern mountainous areas of North Gyeongsang, Daegu, and parts of South Gyeongsang-winds will be somewhat strong. As even small sparks could lead to large fires, special attention should be paid to fire prevention.
Fine dust concentrations nationwide are expected to remain at 'good' to 'moderate' levels.
Wave heights will range from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the coastal waters off the East Sea, and from 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the coastal waters off the West Sea and South Sea. In the offshore areas (up to about 200 km from the coastline), wave heights are forecast at 0.5 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
