Soonchunhyang University Gumi Hospital held a proclamation ceremony for the "Vital Sign Project" on December 1, 2025, marking a new leap forward.
The "Vital Sign Project" is a mid- to long-term initiative set to run from November 2025 to 2027, focusing on the hospital's growth and the establishment of a better operational system. To achieve this, the hospital plans to recruit faculty members in essential medical departments, revise its medical systems and processes, and enhance the quality of patient-centered healthcare services.

Over 100 faculty and staff members attended, reciting a resolution together and reaffirming their commitment to change.
In his proclamation, Director Kim Seongho stated, "We will place 'love for humanity,' the fundamental spirit of Soonchunhyang, at the heart of hospital operations, prioritizing patient safety and treatment outcomes above all else."
He added, "The next three years will be a time for Soonchunhyang University Gumi Hospital to soar to new heights. We will establish a new system that allows patients to receive care comfortably and safely, creating changes that will make people truly feel that 'the hospital has transformed.'"
This proclamation ceremony was the first official event to present the hospital’s future direction and goals since Director Kim Seongho took office.
With the launch of the project, departments that interact directly with patients, such as outpatient clinics and wards, created their own slogans and displayed them throughout the hospital, providing an opportunity to renew their commitment to patient care. Soonchunhyang University Gumi Hospital plans to pursue the goals announced at the ceremony as it embarks on this new chapter.
