The application period runs from the 1st to the 5th. Recruitment fields include: △ 5,367 positions for senior public interest activities △ 1,547 for senior competency utilization △ 751 for community project groups △ 200 for job placement type. The implementing agencies are the Chuncheon City Branch of the Korean Senior Citizens Association, four senior welfare centers (East, South, North, Soyanggang Dam), two senior welfare centers (Dongsan, Bomnae), Chuncheon Senior Club, and Chuncheon Mirae Donghaeng Foundation, totaling nine organizations.

In particular, next year will see a significant expansion of new positions in the digital and care sectors. Notably, new roles will include smart senior center managers who assist with the use of digital devices at senior centers, voice phishing prevention activities to protect the community from financial scams, and a business group for the production and sale of care meals based on HACCP certification.

Additionally, support for child care at daycare centers and kindergartens will be strengthened, enabling seniors to participate more actively in the care sector. The city expects that seniors' capabilities will fill essential areas needed by the city, such as strengthening digital public services, enhancing community safety, and addressing gaps in care services.

Applications can be submitted in person at the implementing agencies or online via the Welfare Road platform. Selection will be conducted fairly in order of highest scores according to Ministry of Health and Welfare standards.

This expansion is a measure to broaden opportunities for seniors to participate in society and to boost local vitality. It is meaningful not just as a numerical increase, but as a policy-driven expansion.

A Chuncheon City official stated, "We have expanded the number of positions to provide more seniors with opportunities for social participation," adding, "We will continue to strengthen customized job policies that support quality of life in old age, economic stability, and healthy social activities, realizing 'Chuncheon, a vibrant city for seniors.'"
