Samsung Electro-Mechanics has conducted its regular executive appointments for 2026. The company focused on strengthening technological leadership based on the principle of performance-based evaluation in order to secure market-leading products and technological capabilities.


On the 25th, Samsung Electro-Mechanics announced that it had promoted a total of eight executives, including two Executive Vice Presidents and six Vice Presidents, in its regular executive appointments. The company stated that it prioritized performance-based principles to secure the products and technological capabilities required for overcoming global uncertainties and driving future growth, and reinforced its technological leadership by focusing on talent with proven expertise.

Through this round of appointments, Kim Hyunwoo and Lee Chung-eun were promoted to Executive Vice President, while Na Junbo, Shin Seungil, Yang Wooseok, Yang Jinhyuk, Jung Junghyuk, and Heo Jaehyuk were newly appointed as Vice Presidents. Samsung Electro-Mechanics explained that it selected talent across major businesses-including multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCC), inductors, package substrates, and camera module lenses-who can respond to technological and market changes and lead the development of differentiated products. Leaders who will strengthen customer-centric competitiveness were also appointed.


In addition, Samsung Electro-Mechanics explained that it aimed to lay the foundation for continuous growth by promoting young and capable leaders with significant contributions and growth potential in each manufacturing and development division to the position of Executive Vice President.
