Samsung Life Insurance announced on November 25 that it will operate the 'LifeNology Lab: Research Institute of Food, Clothing, and Shelter' pop-up exhibition in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, from November 27 to 30.
This LifeNology Lab pop-up exhibition began with the question, "What should insurance do to make longer lives happier?" 'LifeNology Lab' is Samsung Life Insurance's innovation project that researches ideas to make customers' lives happier. It is an industry-academic cooperation program that experimentally expands the brand message of "Insurance Beyond Insurance." Following its first exhibition in January, this second edition is held under the theme "The Era of Extended Youth," sharing research results on future lifestyles.

The exhibition content consists of a wide range of research results on food, clothing, and shelter: ▲ clothing designs that define new utility in the era of extended youth ▲ future-oriented food experiences centered on slow aging and wellness ▲ shelter concepts reflecting near-future lifestyles. Prototypes that bring students' ideas to life are also on display, allowing visitors to directly witness the changing trends in future lifestyles. The exhibition is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and anyone can visit free of charge without a reservation.
Meanwhile, ideas from the first cohort of Samsung Life Insurance's LifeNology Lab were recognized for their excellence, with four works winning awards at the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in Germany and three works receiving accolades at the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) in the United States. The program was also honored with the Grand Prize in Corporate Marketing at the Korea PR Awards, hosted by the Korea Public Relations Association.
A Samsung Life Insurance representative stated, "We researched the possibilities and significance of the era of extended youth, believing that experiences of eating well, dressing well, and living well beyond the boundaries of insurance ultimately shape our tomorrow," and added, "With this pop-up exhibition as a starting point, we will continue to pursue activities that present new possibilities for our customers' lives."
