According to the council on the 21st, the site visits were conducted on the 20th at a total of five locations, including Misa Cultural Street, the Wirye Complex Sports Facility, the construction site of Yonsei Hanam Hospital, and the Coupang Quickflex business site. The purpose was to collect basic data necessary for the administrative audit, assess the progress of major projects, identify current issues and problems, and determine areas in need of improvement.

The Autonomous Administration Committee (Chairman Lim Heedo) toured a 660-meter stretch of the cultural street in the Misa central commercial district, requesting a review of relocating sculptures and smoking booths, and emphasizing thorough management such as improved ventilation in smoking booths.

In addition, the committee members received a report from the relevant department on the main points of the 2026 environment and facility improvement plan for Misa Cultural Street, which is scheduled to be carried out with a special adjustment grant of 1.8 billion won, including the installation of LED electronic displays and the maintenance of street flower beds and sidewalks. They called for the smooth implementation of the improvement plan and the creation of a distinctive street atmosphere.

Next, Assembly members Jung Hyeyoung, Jung Byungyong, Park Sunmi, and Oh Jiyeon visited the Wirye Complex Sports Facility, currently under construction on Sports Land 3 in Wirye New Town, to inspect the construction and safety management of community sports spaces such as the swimming pool, multipurpose gymnasium, and table tennis hall. They also urged the timely completion of the final construction phase and thorough preparations for the facility's opening.

This facility is being built with a total project cost of 44.3 billion won, featuring two basement levels and four above-ground floors, and is scheduled for completion in January 2026.

Lim Heedo, Chairman of the Autonomous Administration Committee, stated, "This audit is the final administrative audit of the 9th council. We will listen to the diverse voices of citizens, thoroughly investigate and analyze any unreasonable aspects of Hanam's administration from multiple perspectives, and present directions for improvement and alternatives to ensure the audit meets the expectations of our citizens."

The Urban Construction Committee (Chairman Choi Hoonjong) inspected the site where illegal banners that spoil the cityscape and threaten pedestrian safety are being guided and cracked down on at Misa Cultural Street, before visiting the construction site of Yonsei Hanam Hospital.

Chairman Choi Hoonjong and Assembly members Oh Seungcheol, Kang Seongsam, and Park Jinhui checked the construction progress of the hospital, which broke ground in September and is scheduled to open in 2027 with five basement levels, ten above-ground floors, and 210 beds. They also closely reviewed the future construction schedule.

The assembly members identified issues at the hospital construction site, such as non-compliance with road occupancy regulations and the lack of lowering work on entry and exit roads, and stressed the importance of creating a safe environment at the site.

During the site inspection, a dangerous incident occurred when a steel construction barrier was blown over by strong winds, nearly causing a serious accident. The assembly members strongly urged thorough accident prevention and safety management.

Finally, the assembly members visited the Coupang Quickflex business site at 415-26 Choi-dong, where they confirmed damage to forest land caused by large cargo trucks. They announced their intention to focus on investigating potential violations of relevant laws and the need for restoration during the administrative audit.

Choi Hoonjong, Chairman of the Urban Construction Committee, said, "The administrative audit is an opportunity to evaluate the policy outcomes of projects carried out over the past year and to set the direction for future policies. We plan to thoroughly review the overall direction of Hanam's administration, identify issues, and propose the correct policy direction."

Meanwhile, the 2025 administrative audit, the highlight of the 344th second regular session, will be conducted by each standing committee from the 21st to the 28th. The Autonomous Administration Committee will conduct audits by department from the 21st to the 27th, and the Urban Construction Committee will do so from the 24th to the 28th.
