The Seonnam-myeon Community Social Security Council in Seongju County (Public Chairperson Cho Ikhyeon and Private Chairperson Lee Youngam) held a ceremony on November 20 at the multipurpose hall of the Bandabi Sports Center in Seonnam-myeon to deliver winter supplies (electric mats and microfiber blanket sets) to vulnerable groups, celebrating the successful achievement of over 30 million KRW in the "Sip Si Il Ban Project."
This event was organized to commemorate raising 35 million KRW-117% of the 30 million KRW fundraising goal-for the "Sip Si Il Ban Project," a new specialized initiative launched by the Seonnam-myeon Community Social Security Council in 2025. Out of the total donations, 10 million KRW was used to purchase 50 electric mats.
Additionally, 35 microfiber blanket sets donated by Bomonde (CEO Kim Wonseop), a local bedding manufacturer, were distributed to neighbors in need across 31 villages.
Private Chairperson Lee Youngam stated, "The warm hearts of each resident came together to create a great force," adding, "We will continue to carefully look after neighbors in need and actively develop customized projects to ensure that support reaches the marginalized members of our community."
Cho Ikhyeon, head of Seonnam-myeon, said, "Thanks to everyone's dedication, the Sip Si Il Ban Project surpassed 30 million KRW, achieving even more meaningful results. The local administration will continue to provide ongoing support so that vulnerable groups can have a warm winter."
Meanwhile, the "Sip Si Il Ban Project" is a public-private partnership led by the Seonnam-myeon Community Social Security Council, and it is continuously promoted to spread a culture of sharing in the community and provide practical assistance to marginalized neighbors.
