Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Acquires Exclusive Rights for Two Caregiving Services

Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance announced on November 19 that it has obtained a six-month exclusive usage right for the home care support coverage and premium care service of its "Ma-eumeul Deo-haneun Care Caregiver Insurance."


The new "Ma-eumeul Deo-haneun Care Caregiver Insurance" is designed to meet the increasing demand for caregiving due to an aging population, guaranteeing continuous caregiver support not only in hospitals but also for home treatment situations.

The product has attracted significant customer interest, with over 10,000 policies sold in just one month.

The home care support coverage provides a service that dispatches a caregiver when the customer requires practical home care after being discharged from the hospital or at other non-medical facilities.

While existing caregiver insurance only provided caregivers during hospitalization, this coverage is specifically designed to ensure stable caregiving support at home after discharge.

The premium care service dispatches caregivers who are certified care assistants through a professional caregiver platform. Customers can manage caregiving schedules and view care reports via a mobile application, enhancing both accessibility and usability of the caregiver service.
