Nine committee members attended the meeting, including Chairman Kim Moonsik, who is also the Chairman of the Korea Gas Station Operators Cooperative.
During the meeting, participants shared updates on the status of the joint business support fund, strategies for launching new support projects, and this year’s performance and improvement plans for joint business support, including support for innovative and specialized personnel. They also exchanged best practices of joint business initiatives among cooperatives and discussed ways to further invigorate joint projects.
Chairman Kim Moonsik stated, "This year, the total amount of the joint business support fund has surpassed 2 billion won, establishing a solid foundation for its operation. The institutional environment supporting cooperative joint projects is rapidly improving, with legislative amendments, refinement of operational regulations, and expanded contributions from financial institutions and large corporations. I hope that the directions for fund utilization and support project improvements discussed at this meeting will lead to tangible results in the field, and that each cooperative will actively develop joint business models suited to the characteristics of their respective industries."
