Yanggu County to Host "Let's Enjoy Leisure and Camping in Yanggu" on the 31st: Camping, Canoeing, and Festival All at Once

The Gangwon Tourism Organization and Yanggu County will host the "Let's Enjoy Leisure and Camping in Yanggu" event from October 31 to November 2, offering participants the chance to enjoy both camping and leisure activities amidst the pristine nature of Yanggu at the Humanities Village Campground for three days.

This event is a leisure-focused program designed to revitalize tourism in connection with the Lake Cultural Tourism Zone. It features activities that allow participants to experience the pure nature of Yanggu while enjoying autumn camping.

At the campground, a variety of side events will be held, including a "Camping Cooking Contest" for families and hobbyists, as well as busking performances that capture the sentiment of autumn, providing participants with special memories.

Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy a unique leisure experience by taking part in the "My Canoe Experience" at the Hanbando Island Boat Dock, where they can paddle a canoe and leisurely explore the Hanbando Island area.

Approximately 150 people are expected to take part in this program, which is anticipated to be a healing-oriented tourism product that allows visitors to experience both the tranquility of the autumn lake and the freedom of camping.

In particular, this event can be enjoyed in conjunction with the "2025 Youth Yanggu Punchbowl Siraegi and Apple Festival" held in Haean-myeon during the same period, making it a popular autumn travel course where visitors can enjoy both festivals and leisure activities at once.
