Suncheon to Host '2025 Global Cultural Content Industry Exhibition' from October 16 to 18

원본보기 아이콘Suncheon City, South Jeolla Province, announced on October 15 that it will host the '2025 Global Cultural Content Industry Exhibition in Suncheon' (hereafter referred to as the Industry Exhibition) for three days from October 16 to 18, centered around the Garden Workation and Eoulrim Library.
This Industry Exhibition, held in conjunction with the 2nd Oltenka under the theme of 'Business in Ecology,' will focus on cultural content companies such as webtoon and animation studios relocating to Suncheon. A total of 75 participants from 71 domestic and international buyers and investment firms will take part.
On October 16 and 17, one-on-one business meetings will be held at the Garden Workation Cabin House. Companies that have relocated to Suncheon, along with domestic and international buyers and investment firms, will participate. The meetings will facilitate contracts and collaborations based on the companies' content IP, production technologies, and distribution strategies.
Following this, an IP competition will be held at the Workation Center. This public IR pitching event allows content companies to present their own IP directly and receive evaluations and feedback from investment firms. It is a business program that enables creative companies to demonstrate their marketability and growth vision, thereby securing opportunities for investment.
On the final day, October 18, a cluster tour will be conducted for companies and overseas buyers. Participants will explore the animation and webtoon cluster areas, including the Global Webtoon Hub Center, Nammun Square, and the National Garden, and experience Suncheon's cultural and industrial infrastructure. In the afternoon, a business party focused on Kenaz, a webtoon anchor company that has relocated to Suncheon, will be held at the Global Webtoon Hub Center in the old downtown area.
A city official stated, "This Industry Exhibition will be an opportunity for Suncheon to grow as a content-oriented city with industrial growth momentum," and added, "We will continue to develop Suncheon into a business hub where culture and industry converge."
