Lee Sangmin, chairman of the Daejeon City Party Committee of the People Power Party and a five-term National Assembly member, passed away on October 15.

Chairman Lee was reportedly found collapsed in a state of cardiac arrest at an apartment in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, around 9:30 a.m. on the same day.


He was transported to the hospital by emergency responders but was ultimately pronounced dead.
