The Gangwon Cultural Foundation (CEO Shin Hyunsang) announced on October 15 that it is now accepting pre-registration for the 'K-arts Overseas Exchange Briefing, From A to Z,' which will be held at 1:30 p.m. on October 29 on the third floor of Chuncheon Dreaming Art Center, in the Nabi-um Hall.

원본보기 아이콘This event is part of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism's international cultural exchange consulting program, designed to improve access to and expand international exchange opportunities for local artists. It is jointly organized by the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, and the Chuncheon Cultural Foundation. The event aims to support artists' overseas expansion by sharing trends in international exchange, practical preparation processes, and real-life experiences from the field.
The briefing will consist of three expert lectures on international cultural and artistic exchange. All speakers are field experts with extensive experience in overseas projects and international exchange, and will provide practical advice based on real-world cases.
In the field of performing arts, Producer Kim Ikki (CEO of Production Ikki) will examine the current state of international cultural and artistic exchange under the theme "From Tradition to Multi-Genre, From Local to Global: The Expansion and Practice of the Producer."
Additionally, in the performing arts field, Producer Lee Mijin (Producer at Art Project Bora) will cover the basics that artists need to understand when pursuing international exchange, with a lecture titled "The First Step in International Exchange: How Should We Prepare?"
Finally, in the visual arts sector, Curator Lee Sooyoung (Curator at Gyeonggi Cultural Foundation) will discuss the meaning and direction of international exchange for today's artists under the theme "International Exchange as a Commons."
Shin Hyunsang, CEO of the Gangwon Cultural Foundation, stated, "This briefing will be a significant opportunity to greatly expand the overseas prospects for cultural and artistic professionals. We hope for active interest and participation from local artists."
