Undergoes Examination at Cheongju Hospital Due to Worsening Left Wrist Pain
Major champion Sung Yujin has given up on winning two consecutive tournaments.

원본보기 아이콘On October 1, before the first round of the Dongbu Construction and Korea Land Trust Championship on the Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour at Iksan Country Club (par 72) in Iksan, North Jeolla Province, Sung Yujin withdrew from the competition. Seo Jieun took her place. Sung Yujin experienced severe pain in her left wrist, which forced her to withdraw from the tournament and return to her home in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province. After dropping off her belongings at home, she immediately went to the hospital where she had been receiving treatment for an examination.
After winning the major HiteJinro Championship on September 28, Sung Yujin said, "My wrist hurt so much that I was brought to tears, but I endured the pain and played." She decided to participate in this tournament, believing the pain had subsided a bit, but ultimately, her injury prevented her from continuing.
