Osan City to Host 'SOLOman Osan' Singles Event for Young Adults on September 6

Osan City, Gyeonggi Province, is recruiting participants for the 'SOLOman Osan' event, a singles gathering for unmarried men and women, scheduled for September 6.

This event, targeting 32 unmarried men and women aged 27 to 39, will take place in the areas of Oido and Daebudo. It is designed to expand opportunities for young adults to meet and to foster a marriage-friendly social atmosphere.

The event will feature programs that allow participants to interact naturally, including professional dating coaching, couple recreation, one-on-one seaside walks, and speed dating.

Those wishing to participate must apply online by the 27th. Applicants are required to submit a certificate of employment, a resident registration abstract, and a detailed certificate of marriage relations at the time of application.

Previously, a total of 119 people participated in the three 'SOLOman Osan' events held by the city last year, resulting in 33 couples being matched. Among them, one couple actually got married.

Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan, said, "I hope this event will serve as a warm starting point for young people in the region to build meaningful connections through healthy encounters and to plan a happy future."
