Kyungnam University Holds 76th 2024 Summer Commencement Ceremony

President Park Jaekyu: "May You Always Remember
That Our Graduates Have Been at the Heart
of the University's Remarkable Achievements"
Kyungnam University held the 76th 2024 Summer Commencement Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. on August 20 in the main building's 4th floor grand conference hall.
Through this commencement, a total of 765 outstanding graduates were produced, including 35 doctoral degrees, 190 master's degrees (50 from the Graduate School, 26 from the Graduate School of Industrial Management, 73 from the Graduate School of Education, and 41 from the Graduate School of Public Administration), and 540 bachelor's degrees.
President Park Jaekyu delivered a congratulatory address, saying, "I sincerely congratulate all the graduates on this meaningful commencement, and I extend my deepest gratitude to the families, relatives, and professors who have always supported our graduates."
He went on to say, "Celebrating its 79th anniversary, Kyungnam University has been recognized for its capacity for innovation in major national projects such as being selected for the RISE project. The university has achieved significant results not only in education and research but also in regional and international cooperation. At the heart of these remarkable achievements have always been our graduates. I hope you will grow into responsible members of society, building on the knowledge and experience you have gained at the university."
Meanwhile, the list of recipients of doctoral degrees for the 2024 summer semester is as follows: Doctor of Literature: Lee Namhee; Doctor of Education: Kim Nayeon, Park Haemin, Ye Dagyo, Oh Yekyung, Wu Wanwei, Yoon Jeongae, Lee Jeongran; Doctor of Business Administration: Gong Jieun, Yoon Bonghyeon; Doctor of International Trade: Kim Rayoon; Doctor of Law: Park Suhwan, Bae Junbeom; Doctor of Political Science: Kim Dongsu, Song Younggeun, Shin Euho, Ha Taewon; Doctor of Regional Studies: Zhang Xiaolong; Doctor of Science: Kwak Younghwan, Koo Heebin, Song Seonhae, Jeong Seonhye, Choi Mijoo; Doctor of Engineering: Kim Jaekyu, Jin Cheol, Han Sangsool; Doctor of Music: Li Suting, Yan Shaobo, Wang Xiaoxue, Zhu Yiyong, Huo Meiji; Doctor of Physical Education: Kang Seongmi, Kim Dongwan, Byun Gichan, Choi Youngjun.
