Kiwoom Securities Holds Inauguration Ceremony for Fourth Class of 'Kiwoom Dreamer'

Kiwoom Securities announced that it will hold the inauguration ceremony for the fourth class of 'Kiwoom Dreamer' on August 20 at the Yeouido TP Tower.

Last month, Kiwoom Securities held the graduation ceremony for the third class of Kiwoom Dreamer at its headquarters in Yeouido TP Tower, Seoul. Just one month later, a new class is beginning.

Kiwoom Dreamer is a financial and economic education mentoring program for high school students, launched last year with the key theme of "sound financial and economic education." In collaboration with UIC (the National University Student Investment Club Association), Kiwoom Securities aims to provide future economic leaders-high school students-with accurate economic knowledge and foster their financial perspective through communication and education.

So far, about 200 participants (including both mentors and mentees) have taken part from Soongui Girls' High School, Incheon Foreign Language High School, Seoul High School, Kyungseong High School, Haki High School, and Yeokgok High School. This fourth class of Kiwoom Dreamer will expand beyond the Seoul metropolitan area, with activities taking place at Gwangju Jeil High School (Gwangju) and Namseong Girls' High School (Busan).

Kiwoom Securities has consistently carried out ESG initiatives focused on "financial and economic education." The company has collaborated with EBS to produce the "Pengsoo, Let's Go to School!" financial and economic education content series and published a related book earlier this month, all aimed at improving financial literacy among young people.

A Kiwoom Securities representative stated, "We will continue our efforts to ensure that participation in Kiwoom Dreamer activities provides both university and high school students with a foundation for economic activity and opportunities for growth."
