NHN KCP, a comprehensive payment solutions provider, announced on August 20 that it has signed an electronic payment gateway (PG) agreement to provide payment services for the Peugeot brand under Stellantis Korea.
NHN KCP's payment service will first be introduced for consignment sales models, including the Peugeot 408 Smart Hybrid, 308 Smart Hybrid, and All New 3008 Smart Hybrid.
In connection with Peugeot's "One Price" policy announced earlier this year, the company aims to offer customers a hassle-free purchasing experience and convenient payment options based on a fixed price system.
With the introduction of this service, customers purchasing Peugeot vehicles can now pay their deposits using various payment methods, including credit cards and simple payment solutions. In partnership with KB Kookmin Card, customers can also pay the remaining balance with a credit card.
NHN KCP plans to develop and implement a new payment service utilizing "BUYLINK," its customized remote payment solution. This will allow customers to complete payments simply by accessing a URL link sent by a sales representative.
The company also plans to expand the payment service to other Peugeot models in the future.
Stellantis is a global automotive manufacturer with 14 brands, including Jeep, Peugeot, Fiat, Chrysler, and Maserati. Last year, the company recorded sales of 156.9 billion euros (approximately 25.4 trillion KRW) and a net profit of 5.5 billion euros (about 900 billion KRW).
An NHN KCP representative stated, "Based on our experience collaborating with global automotive brands, we will provide payment solutions tailored to Stellantis. Through this partnership, we aim to strengthen brand competitiveness and lead the advancement of payment infrastructure in the automotive industry."
NHN KCP is an electronic payment service company providing comprehensive e-commerce infrastructure, including PG, value-added network (VAN) services, simple payments, settlement, and security.
Recently, the company launched a stablecoin task force (TF) together with NHN Payco and is exploring entry into related businesses.
