NCSoft Finalizes Official Title of New Game 'LLL' as 'Cinder City'

NCSoft announced on August 18 that it has finalized the official title of Bigfire Games Studio's new project 'LLL' as 'Cinder City'.

'Cinder City' is a new massively multiplayer online (MMO) tactical shooter game playable on PC and console. It is currently in development with a target launch date set for next year.

The game is set in a science fiction (SF) alternate history universe where 23rd-century futuristic technology coexists with the 21st-century present. It features dynamic graphics and a seamless open world powered by Unreal Engine 5. The cityscape is inspired by real locations such as Samsung-dong and Nonhyeon-dong in Seoul, and the game offers a realistic combat experience that accurately reflects firearm mechanics.

Bae Jae-hyun, CEO of Bigfire Games, stated, "'Cinder City' is a game whose title reflects the story of humanity in the future, facing a grave crisis, striving to save the world as a spark of hope in a city reduced to ashes." He added, "We will do our utmost to satisfy global players through our development efforts."
