In connection with this, the group held an orientation session on the previous afternoon at Shinhan Xpace in Myeongdong, Seoul, inviting companies participating in the 'Local Bridge Project,' a program supporting local economic revitalization.

This project is designed to support the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Local Branding Project at the Living Zone Level.' It aims to realize ideas that enhance local value, reduce energy costs, and create a sustainable, eco-friendly local ecosystem.

The orientation was attended by more than 60 people, including 26 companies and organizations from 10 regions that will be carrying out the project, as well as local government officials. Participants shared the project's direction and ideas for implementation. Major initiatives include Uiseong Munhwasa's plan to organize the 'Sullae-gil Camping Festival' linking local commercial districts around An-gye Plain in Uiseong, North Gyeongsang Province, and Dalttuneun Maeul Agricultural Cooperative Corporation's introduction of electric shuttle buses and charging stations in Dalttuneun Maeul, Inje, Gangwon Province.

Jin Okdong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, stated, "The Local Bridge Project is more than just regional support; it is a sustainable win-win model where local businesses, residents, and governments grow together. Shinhan Financial Group will continue to work with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety to promote regional economic revitalization and the spread of local branding through various collaborative projects."
