BNK Busan Bank, Dugundugeun Local Volunteer Group Carries Out Volunteer Activities

BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Seongbin) held various volunteer activities in three districts of Busan in March to mark the 'Local Volunteer Day,' with more than 60 employees and their families participating, including making sharing packages for low-income families.

The Geumjeong District Volunteer Group conducted marine environment education and a 'sharing package making' volunteer activity for low-income families at the Volunteer Center. On this day, Yoon Ilhyun, the mayor of Geumjeong District, attended the event to encourage the volunteers and express his gratitude.

The Yeongdo District Volunteer Group organized a 'Memories Voluntour' at Huinnyeoul Culture Village, discovering places of symbolic significance for volunteering in Yeongdo and providing a tour to remind participants of the spirit and meaning of volunteerism. The Busanjin District Volunteer Group held a 'Pettiquette' (pet + etiquette) education session and a volunteer activity to make toys for companion dogs.

Kang Seokrae, Head of Corporate Customer Group, who participated in the Geumjeong District volunteer activity, said, "Although it was a bit chilly today due to the rain, I felt my heart warm through volunteering," and added, "Busan Bank will continue to carry out various volunteer activities so that local residents can enjoy a happy daily life."

Busan Bank designates the third Saturday of every month as 'Local Volunteer Day' and conducts a variety of volunteer activities. Since February, the name of the local volunteer group has been changed to 'Dugeundugeun Local Volunteer Group,' and employees' families are joining together to help spread warmth throughout the local community.
