Special Birthday Party Held for 100-Year-Old Senior in Gwangjin-gu

On the 13th, a special birthday celebration was held for Elder Ju Oksun, who turned 100 years old, at the 2nd Senior Center in Guui 1-dong, Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyungho).

The event was attended by Kim Kyungho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, the centenarian's children, and all members of the senior center, who brightened the occasion and conveyed congratulatory messages wishing for the elder's health and happiness.

Lee Gangguk, president of the 2nd Senior Center in Guui 1-dong, said, "I am very grateful that so many people came to celebrate. I am glad that the elder is still healthy and can live surrounded by the care and love of neighbors."

Elder Ju Oksun, celebrating her birthday, expressed, "I am very thankful and happy that even the mayor came personally to celebrate my birthday."
