Geochang County, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 17th that it held the "2025 Geochang County Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Association Capacity Building Workshop" at Wolcheon Experience and Recreation Village, with the participation of about 30 executives from the Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Association.
This workshop was organized to strengthen the capacity of the association's executives, who play an important role in population growth, and to revitalize return-to-farming and rural migration. The program began with training on detailed policies and counseling methods for mentoring, followed by presentations of outstanding cases from each branch, harmony-building programs, a roundtable discussion to explore future directions, and education on subsidies.

Kim Dongseok, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, said, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of the Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Association members who are striving for population growth and regional development," and added, "I hope the association will play a key role in revitalizing return-to-farming and rural migration and overcoming the crisis of local extinction."
Um Sihyun, President of the Return-to-Farming and Rural Migration Association, said, "This workshop was a valuable opportunity to enhance our capacity as mentors for return-to-farming and rural migration," and added, "We will continue to do our best to help returnees settle down stably."
