Silla University Holds 2025 Academic Year Freshman Entrance Ceremony

Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) held the entrance ceremony for new students for the 2025 academic year.

On this day, despite the gloomy and rainy weather, Shilla University was bustling with new students walking energetically around the campus, creating a bright atmosphere.

At 11 a.m., in the large auditorium on the 4th floor of the Future Aviation Convergence Hall, the entrance ceremony was held with the attendance of President Heo Nam-sik, administrative professors, college deans, faculty and staff, current students, and new students. The ceremony proceeded in the following order: △Opening address △National anthem △Declaration of admission approval △New student oath △President’s welcome speech △Introduction of administrative staff △Student council welcome greeting △Congratulatory performance △Closing remarks.

In particular, the congratulatory performance by the KBO League Lotte Giants cheerleaders ignited the new students’ passionate enthusiasm for university life.

In his welcome speech, Shilla University President Heo Nam-sik said, “Remember that the future is not something that comes to you but something you create. I hope you actively participate in the various programs offered by our university and gain many experiences to build a bright future.” He added, “Shilla University, a university where students succeed, will do its best to be a solid foundation for you to realize your dreams.”
