Gwangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Bang Se-hwan) signed a business agreement on the 4th at the 6th floor Eum Hall of City Hall with the Gwangju Police Station and NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch for the 'Pan-Gwangju Citizen Promotion Project to Prevent Voice Phishing.'

원본보기 아이콘At the signing ceremony, Mayor Bang Se-hwan, Gwangju Police Station Chief Noh Dong-yeol, NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch Manager Gu Pyeong-hoe, and about 10 officials from each organization attended.
The three organizations pledged mutual cooperation through this agreement to protect Gwangju citizens from voice phishing scams that cause serious property and psychological damage.
Additionally, the city plans to continuously cooperate with the Gwangju Police Station and NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch to actively support voice phishing prevention promotions.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, “I thank the Gwangju Police Station and NH Nonghyup Bank Gwangju Branch for cooperating to prevent voice phishing among Gwangju citizens,” and added, “We will do our best to promote voice phishing prevention so that citizens do not fall victim to voice phishing scams.”
