Lotte Card has joined the government project by launching a card linked to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's K-Pass program. This product offers discounts on public transportation fares and living expenses.
On the 4th, Lotte Card announced the release of the K-Pass exclusive card 'K-Pass Enroca.' By registering the card number on the K-Pass application or website, users receive K-Pass benefits based on their public transportation usage.
The K-Pass Enroca card provides additional discount benefits in the areas of public transportation and living expenses according to the card usage amount.
For example, if the card usage amount last month was over 400,000 KRW, 10% of the public transportation (bus and subway) usage amount is discounted up to 10,000 KRW; if over 800,000 KRW, 15% is discounted up to 15,000 KRW.
For coffee (Starbucks, Paul Bassett, Hollys Coffee, Twosome Place), offline convenience stores (GS25, CU, 7-Eleven), online shopping (Coupang, Naver Pay), and streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Watcha, Melon, Genie Music, Disney Plus), if the usage amount last month was over 400,000 KRW, 10% of the usage amount is discounted up to 3,000 KRW per category (total 12,000 KRW). If over 800,000 KRW, the discount is 6,000 KRW per category (total 24,000 KRW).
Card applications can be made through the Lotte Card DigiRoca app and website or the K-Pass app and website. The annual fee is 20,000 KRW (domestic only and international versions available).
A Lotte Card representative said, "We have joined the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's K-Pass project as an additional business operator to reduce public transportation costs and promote its use," adding, "We included benefits for customers concerned about reducing transportation and living expenses."
