The Resident Participation Budget Committee is composed of several divisions including △Administrative Planning △Welfare Support △Housing and Transportation △Construction Policy △Environment and Health, allowing residents to directly participate in the budget formulation and execution process to enhance financial transparency and fairness, and to reflect opinions from various fields.
The recruitment target includes residents with an address in Guro-gu as of the announcement date or those working at institutions and businesses within the area. Members can be reappointed once, and up to 100 members, including those wishing to be reappointed, will be selected through open recruitment and recommendations.
The selected members will be active for two years from March 2025 to February 2027, participating comprehensively in the Guro-gu resident participation budget formulation process, including providing opinions on budget formulation directions, collecting residents' opinions, and reviewing proposed projects.
Those wishing to participate can visit the district office (Planning and Budget Division) or community centers, or submit an application form via the Guro-gu Resident Participation Budget website or email.
A Guro-gu official stated, "The Resident Participation Budget Committee plays an important role in creating district administration together by having residents directly participate in the budget formulation process," and added, "We ask for your great interest and participation."
In 2024, 23 district-wide projects and 30 neighborhood projects were decided as 2025 resident participation budget projects and reflected in this year's budget.
