According to market research firm Euromonitor, the Singapore franchise market size is approximately $3.098 billion (about 4.23 trillion KRW) annually and is expected to steadily grow by 6.6% annually over the next five years, reaching $4.025 billion by 2027.
In particular, Singapore is a key hub market in Southeast Asia and a strategically important country. Due to its multicultural nature, it has a wide and diverse spectrum of food cultures and is a gourmet center where various cuisines coexist. CJ Foodville plans to focus on establishing a stable foothold in the Singapore market through collaboration with partners who possess excellent dining business capabilities and solid infrastructure in the local market.
Royal T Group, the MF partner of Tous Les Jours, is a Singapore-based dining specialist company operating various F&B brands. It runs over 100 F&B outlets in major Southeast Asian countries, including Singapore. As a company well-versed in the local dining business, it is expected to serve as a stepping stone to expand Tous Les Jours' influence in Singapore.
Tous Les Jours plans to open its first store within this year and provide a differentiated experience as a "premium lifestyle bakery." Reflecting the local characteristic of dining out rather than cooking at home, it will offer a variety of products ranging from meal breads to snack breads and desserts. Additionally, it plans to develop signature products made with premium ingredients to captivate the tastes of local Singaporean customers.
A CJ Foodville official said, "We plan to firmly establish our position as a healthy and fresh premium bakery brand in Singapore as well," adding, "Through this entry into Singapore, we plan to accelerate the expansion of our business in Southeast Asia."
Meanwhile, Tous Les Jours has established itself as a premium brand in North America, including the United States and Canada, as well as in Asian regions such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Mongolia, and Cambodia. With this entry into Singapore, it plans to further accelerate its expansion in the Asian region.
