Various Measures for Early Construction of Aerospace Complex City Presided by Gyeongnam Province Industry Director

Sacheon City in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 30th that it held the third meeting of the Aerospace Complex City Construction Preparation Team at the Gyeongnam Provincial Central Conference Room.


This meeting, presided over by Ryu Myunghyun, Co-Deputy Head of the Aerospace Complex City Construction Preparation Team (Director of the Gyeongsangnam-do Industry Bureau), was attended by Kim Sungkyu, Deputy Mayor of Sacheon (Co-Deputy Head), as well as officials from Gyeongnam Province, Sacheon City, and private sector committee members from industry, academia, and research institutes.

The meeting began with a presentation by Lee Munho, a researcher at the Gyeongnam Research Institute, on the comprehensive strategy for the Gyeongnam Aerospace Complex City. It continued with reports on the Sacheon Aerospace Complex City urban development project, Gyeongnam Province's strategy for promoting the construction of the Aerospace Complex City, and concluded with other discussions and expert forums.


On this day, Sacheon City actively proposed various measures for the early construction of the Aerospace Complex City, including the prompt decision on the location of the new Aerospace Administration building, and requested full cooperation from the preparation team and Gyeongnam Province.


Meanwhile, the city has achieved concrete results for the construction of the Aerospace Complex City, such as signing a business agreement with the National Changwon University Aerospace Campus, a business agreement with Gyeongsang National University's contract department, and passing the feasibility evaluation for the establishment of a public rental knowledge industry center, in line with the opening of the Aerospace Administration.


A city official stated, "Thanks to the dedication of the preparation team members in their respective fields since the kickoff meeting in January, the outline of the Aerospace Complex City is gradually taking shape," and added, "We will do our best to help the city grow into one full of infinite possibilities and vision."
