Beauty Platform 'Gangnam Unni' Obtains ISMS Certification for Information Security Management System

Healing Paper, the operator of the beauty medical information platform ‘Gangnam Unni,’ announced on the 12th that it has obtained the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification granted by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

The ISMS certification is a national information security certification system announced by the Ministry of Science and ICT in accordance with Article 47 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection. Healing Paper’s ISMS certification is valid for three years until January 17, 2027.

The scope of Healing Paper’s ISMS certification includes all assets and organizations related to the operation of the Gangnam Unni service. It has passed detailed evaluations on the establishment and operation of the information security management system and protection measures.

Since June 2022, Healing Paper has been voluntarily disclosing its information security status through KISA’s verification. Healing Paper is currently disclosing its activities for information security, including data on corporate information security investments and personnel, as well as employee personal information protection training and the establishment of security guidelines, through KISA’s comprehensive information security disclosure portal.

Lee Ok-seok, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of Healing Paper, said, “As the Gangnam Unni service expands its influence both domestically and globally, we will strive to maintain a highly trusted security system so that customers can use the service with greater peace of mind.”
