Everland Membership 'Somsatang' Members Surpass 4 Million in Three Months

Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced on the 7th that the number of members of its integrated membership program 'Somsatang,' launched in November last year, surpassed 4 million within three months. The number of members rapidly increased in a short period as various Somsatang-related benefits such as discounts and point accumulation spread through social media and other channels.

Somsatang is an integrated membership system applicable to all customers using Everland Resort facilities, including Everland, Caribbean Bay, and Homebridge. Previously, only season pass holders (formerly annual members) could accumulate points, but by signing up for Somsatang for free, members are assigned one of five tiers?Sunlight, Moonlight, Dreamlight, Waterlight, and Starlight?based on their usage performance.

An Everland representative explained, "In addition to various discount benefits, 'Som (points)' can be accumulated up to 8% of the amount spent at Everland and can be used like cash," adding, "Since accumulated Som can also be transferred, friends and family can pool their points together, which positively contributed to the increase in membership."

To celebrate surpassing 4 million Somsatang members, Everland is holding Somsatang events this month to express gratitude to customers. For families with three or more children, if one child aged 12 or under subscribes to a one-year season pass, the same season pass will be provided free of charge to the other siblings. This event runs until the 18th. During the Lunar New Year holiday, members under 14 visiting Everland by the 12th will receive 5,000 Som as a gift. Season pass holders will also be offered Lunar New Year gift coupon packs until the 18th.
