Shinhan Card and DataMond Join Hands for Data Collaboration

Shinhan Card announced on the 2nd that it has signed a business agreement with DataMond to establish a cooperation system for MyData and 'Zero-Party Data.'


DataMond is a startup that has built a Zero-Party Data platform. Zero-Party Data refers to data voluntarily provided by customers, such as personal preferences and tendencies. DataMond possesses the capabilities to collect, process, and analyze this data, as well as its own security solutions.


Through this agreement, the two companies will pursue ▲ joint business initiatives utilizing MyData and Zero-Party Data ▲ mutual cooperation for the sale and brokerage services of processed MyData information ▲ linked cooperation for customer research and commercialization of customized marketing services.

Shinhan Card plans to enhance hyper-personalized services and improve customer experience and satisfaction by combining various heterogeneous data that can understand customers’ interests, tastes, and preferences.


DataMond was selected in June last year as part of the 9th batch of ‘Shinhan Future’s Lab,’ a startup accelerating program. Shinhan Future’s Lab is a program by Shinhan Financial Group that discovers and supports promising startups domestically and internationally. Selected startups receive support for growth through collaboration among Shinhan Financial Group affiliates and assistance for global expansion.


A Shinhan Card official stated, “Through this agreement, we will establish a business cooperation model between the two companies and seek mutual linkage plans to continuously provide customers with diverse services and tangible benefits.”
