Director Park, who carried out the inspection, visited facility vegetable farms (strawberries, cherry tomatoes) and the Sancheong-gun Nonghyup Agricultural Products Distribution Center (APC) to check crop conditions and shipment trends, urging growth management and expanded shipments to stabilize supply and demand.

Director Park said, “Although there were concerns about cold damage to facility vegetables due to severe weather conditions such as heavy snow and cold waves in late December last year, there was no significant damage thanks to the appropriate response by farmers. I hope thorough preparations will continue to prevent disaster damage in the future.”

A county official stated, “We will continue to make efforts for stable production of facility vegetables through crop management and technical guidance,” adding, “We will do our best to provide various policy supports for farmers.”
