LG Electronics will launch the new concept premium water-purifying humidifier, ‘LG PuriCare Objet Collection Hydro Tower,’ on the 29th. To ensure clean humidification, it applies a thorough three-step management process including ▲water purification filter ▲high-temperature sterilization ▲clean air filter.
The first step is the process of filtering the water customers put into the product through the water purification filter. The water purification filter removes harmful substances in the water as well as minerals such as calcium and magnesium. The second step is boiling the purified water at 100 degrees Celsius in the heating tank for high-temperature sterilization. It has been confirmed by an accredited testing agency that harmful bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa are reduced by 99.999% through high-temperature sterilization. In the final third step, the air sucked in from the bottom of the product passes through the clean air filter and is then blown out from the top of the product, completing clean humidification.
The Hydro Tower is equipped with thorough hygiene management functions that meet customer needs emphasizing safety and hygiene, such as automatic sterilization and internal cleaning. The automatic drying function helps dry the moisture in the passage where water particles have passed after humidification ends. Additionally, customers can hygienically care for this passage before using the humidifier by steaming water boiled at 100 degrees Celsius.
Starting from the 1st of next month, LG Electronics plans to operate pop-up stores sequentially at Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam, The Hyundai Daegu, and The Hyundai Seoul, allowing customers to directly experience the premium water-purifying humidifier. Lee Jae-sung, Vice President of LG Electronics H&A Business Division, said, “We will continue to introduce products that improve air quality so that customers can always live in a comfortable environment.”
