Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai (CEO Shin Hyun-dae), is expanding collaborative robots and automation equipment in partnership with external collaborators.
On the 18th, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries announced that it held an 'Automated Welding Equipment On-site Demonstration' for public institutions such as the Small and Medium Shipbuilding Research Institute and external collaborators at the company yard's main building and panel factory.
Officials from Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries' external partner companies are observing the equipment demonstration process at the 'Automatic Welding Equipment On-site Demonstration' held on the 18th at the panel factory within the company yard.

During the demonstration held at the panel factory within the company yard, equipment such as △Weaving P-SAW △Face automated welding equipment △Rail-less EGW was showcased.
Through this demonstration, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries introduced automated welding equipment currently applied in the field to external collaborators and plans to support related technologies in the future to facilitate adoption and expansion.
Kim Hwan-kyu, Executive Director and Head of the Internal Operations Division at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, stated, “By actively supporting the introduction and expansion of automation equipment for external collaborators, we aim to resolve labor shortages and improve technological capabilities and quality.”
Meanwhile, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries plans to promote the attraction of national projects and local government support to ensure smooth progress in the expansion of robots and automation equipment for external collaborators.
