Hapiball is characterized by its sweet taste and a light alcohol content (6%), making it easy to enjoy at home. It gained attention when popular entertainer Park Narae appeared on a variety show and mixed the product with fruits to create a drink called ‘Chwihwa-chae.’ It was also featured as a sold-out item on the popular YouTube channel ‘Jangsaui Sin’ (God of Business), which boasts 1.08 million subscribers.

Since its launch, Hapiball has ranked first in sales among all RTD (Ready to Drink) alcoholic beverages sold at GS25 during the same period. As the modish consumer culture of combining various products to create hybrid menus has become widespread, it is analyzed that consumers inspired by the so-called ‘Park Narae Chwihwa-chae recipe’ have continued to purchase the product.

Han Gujong, MD of the GS25 Liquor Planning Team, stated, “Among consumers, there is a growing preference for alcoholic beverages that allow them to actively reflect their individuality even when having just one drink.” He added, “We plan to further solidify our position as a trend-leading company through differentiated products exclusive to GS25.”
